Emily Cichy leads global Sustainability & Social Impact at Stanley 1913. In this role, she guides worldwide teams executing strategy for environmental sustainability, social responsibility, philanthropy, and community impact.
Emily joined Stanley 1913 in 2020 to build its next generation corporate responsibility roadmap, ensuring that sustainability is at the heart of Stanley’s brand, products, and culture. Under her leadership, Stanley 1913 has decoupled its environmental footprint from its significant business growth, made industry-leading investments in recycled materials and lower-impact manufacturing, and launched Stanley Creators Fund, a global philanthropy program to identify and invest in social entrepreneurs building inventive solutions to humanity’s deepest challenges.
Prior to joining Stanley 1913, Emily held several roles in sustainability strategy, corporate responsibility, strategic foresight, and public affairs during thirteen years at The Walt Disney Company in Burbank, CA, and Washington, DC. In her early career, Emily conducted marketing and research for non-profit creative institutions.
Emily holds a masters of business administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and an undergraduate degree from The George Washington University. She is based in Seattle, WA.
