The Corporate Angel Network
08/02/2004

The Corporate Angel Network (CAN) provides a practical way for us to help cancer patients and their families. Aircraft owners—even fractional owners—can donate seats or time to patients who must travel long distances for treatment. Private travel not only keeps costs down for patients, but also relieves the added stress an ill person feels when forced to fight airport crowds when traveling commercially.

CAN, based in White Plains, N.Y., coordinates the transportation donations. It has provided more than 17,000 trips on regularly scheduled corporate flights since its inaugural in 1981. Under the Corporate Information page of the website is a list of specific flight requests.
